     Please accept this invitation as a very genuine request by your Board of Trustees and I to this year’s Annual Meeting of your electric cooperative. By virtue of the fact that you live in Butler REC’s territory, purchase electricity from and have electricity delivered by Butler REC’s lines, you are a member and an owner of the cooperative.

2014 Promises to be a challenging year...In a good way

     Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone. 2013 was a very challenging year here at Butler REC and 2014 promises to be just as challenging. I hope that most of you noticed the Holiday Refund on your December bill.

     BRYCE FLAMING, RICHARD JIMENEZ, DALE SHORT, RILEY WALTERS, and BEN WHITESIDE from Butler REC were recognized at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Region 7 & 9 meeting in October for their commitment to education.
