More About Ron Oelkers

Ron Oelkers has been a Butler Electric Cooperative member since 1987. He and his wife, Judy live just north of Rose Hill, and both have attended the yearly member meetings for a number of years now. Oelkers is a native Kansan and was born and raised in the Wichita area. He received an associate’s degree of science in computer information systems from Butler Community College and a bachelor’s degree of science in computer information systems from Friends University. Oelkers owns a small lawn and landscape company called Ron’s Lawn Care, LLC. “I have seen Butler Electric Cooperative grow over the years, and I am looking forward to continuing that growth and to providing a better service to Butler members,” Oelkers said.
