More About Sheri Claassen

Sheri Claassen and her husband Art live on the family farm north of Potwin where they have raised two grown children. Sheri grew up in Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in journalism and later earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. She is retired from a 25-year career at The Wichita Eagle where she held senior management positions both in the newsroom and on the business side of the company. She has enjoyed serving on a number of charitable and non-profit boards of directors, including the Wichita Community Foundation, the Wichita River Festival, the Boys and Girls Club, and others.
